Rotary Mount Martha this week

MM Fire Brigade 14.9.26

Last Monday we enjoyed a delicious dinner and site visit at Mount Martha Fire Brigade, hosted by Captain Brandon Crowder and members of the brigade.

Seeing the foam branches which our club helped sponsor together with a tour of the trucks and station, made for a most enjoyable and informative evening.

Captain Brandon Crowder gave our members a feel for some of their equipment they use and some of their brigade needs as we head into the summer season.

A very interesting and informative evening with the Mount Martha Fire Brigade

Padua College Mock Interviews 15.9.26

On Monday, Rotarians and supporters from our club met some absolutely delightful young people at Padua College. We took part in mock interviews with the Year 12 VCE Vocational Major students. These students are looking at gaining an apprenticeship or employment rather than going straight from school to university. We were all impressed by the students who were engaging, friendly and grateful for our participation.

The future is in good hands!

Many thanks to Kaye Stokes, Jill Cummins, Bernie Meehan, Peter Rawlings, Mark Dobson and Tom Barrett, who joined me and for their support of this program.

If you would like to meet some impressive youngsters, why not join us on Monday October 19th from 11.30 to 1.30 and participate in the year 11 mock interviews??  Contact Phyl Scales if you are able to do so.

Bunnings BBQ 18.9.26

On Friday this week we had glorious weather as we raised $1,220 for our clubs international projects.

Our ongoing thanks to Bunnings Mornington for the opportunity to serve and to help raise funds for our projects.

RYPEN 20.9.26

The Rotary Youth Program of ENrichment, a program close to the hearts of many of us at Rotary Mount Martha, was hosted this year at the Briars in Mount Martha.

An opportunity presented itself for our club to serve up the final lunch for the RYPENians, camp leaders, visiting Rotarians and parents.

In all we catered for around 150 with beef and chicken burgers and our trademark sausage sizzle.

Our congratulations to all involved and our thanks to our team who delivered with culinary distinction.

The RYPENians and leaders were hungry for our burgers and sausages.

Photos of all students provided with parental consent

Our team truly did a magnificent job

Rob Cook thanked the RYPEN camp leaders Christine and Hannah on their leadership of RYPEN 2026

Padua College Interviews

Padua College Year 11 Mock Interviews
