From President Anne
Hoping you all enjoyed Easter and had a good break.
This Monday we will be hearing from Angie Fly about the Sunshine Reserve Conservation Group. Angie is the coordinator and secretary. My introduction to Sunshine Reserve was through Gill Gordon who taught me so much about the environment.
Our 50th Anniversary celebration lunch is only weeks away and I am excited to see many past members and family members attending as well as community dignitaries.
Just a few days to go for RSVP's for our 50th Anniversary Celebration. Please RSVP if you haven't done so already!
We also have the Rotary International President, Gordon McInally visiting the Mornington Peninsula at the invitation of DG Linda Humphries with a number of events planned for early June.

CDS Cage at the MCSC
This past weekend Rob, Ron and Peter installed a new cage at the MCSC, which will also have some additional signage soon.
This will allow members of the community to donate their containers to the MCSC, which we will in turn benefit the Mornington Community Support Centre.

Shine On Awards
The Rotary International Shine On Awards Committee recognizes and celebrates those volunteers in our community who have chronic illness, ABI, ID, mental illness and/or physical disabilities.
This year’s event is to held on Sunday 19th May. Each year the Committee chooses three people with medical or disability experience either lived or professional to evaluate the people who are nominated for the Awards. Nominations come from across Victoria, parts of NSW and SA.
This year we are looking for people as above, who could set aside 3-4 hours to read, discuss and evaluate the Nominations and decide to whom they would give a trophy over and above the Citations which each Nominee receives.
If you or someone you know could assist us in this endeavor, please contact:
