A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Rotary Club of Mount Martha Board held a special meeting on Sunday 9th of March as Rob Davies is standing down from the position of President Elect. We respect Rob’s decision and wish him well with his recovery.

This meeting was a combined meeting of the 2024/25 and 2025/26 Boards and had the correct quorum.

In an email to the board from Rob Davies, “It is appropriate to confirm in writing that I wish to step down from the position of President Elect and therefore the RCMM Board immediately.

I have been humbled by the Club’s trust in appointing me, and am deeply disappointed that I have to take this step for health reasons.

I look forward to continuing membership of the RCMM and being involved further with the Club’s activities.”

The Board approved unanimously that Peter Rawlings would become President Elect for the remainder of 2024/25 and President for 2025/26.

Koshish Garden Plaque

Dear President Anne,

What a great evening with the Rotaractors last week.

As Rotary Mount Martha and Rotary Dromana contributed to the KOSHISH garden project, together with Rotary Rosebud - Rye, we included your clubs on the plaque that will be mounted near the garden (see below).

Also, the invitation for the Rotaractors to speak at the District conference will be a great opportunity to expand the reach of this project.   Therefore we have started interviewing them about their experience and as we filmed hours of footage while we were in Nepal, we should be able to compile a powerful 5-minute video to present at the conference.  It could become a useful resource for Rotaract in future presentations.
