This week we donated $1,500 to Mental Health Safety Net for their great work on suicide prevention, and on Friday we also had a crew doing the bacon and egg rolls for their golf day. It was an early start at 5.30am.
At our project meeting last Monday we approved the decodable book project for Mornington Park Primary School which is being done as a RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service) project and also agreed to complete our funding for this stage of the Ingin Midwives project.
We also received an update on the Village Christmas Decorations from Susan and Mark.
At our club's AGM last week, the 2025-26 Board was elected.
President - Peter Rawlings
President elect - Mark Dobson
Immediate Past President - Anne Shaw
Secretary - Wayne Norris
Treasurer - Peter Rawlings
Directors - Byron Groves, Wayne Jenkins, Bernie Meehan.
Congratulations to all of our Board for 2025-26.

Bin Chicken Forum at the MCSC
Bin Chickens to meet at the Mornington Community Support Centre - 4.30pm Monday 24th November
What does it take to be a Bin Chicken? ... above all, a vision ... and the ability to see the big picture ... seemingly against all odds, alone in all sorts of weather and sometimes inconvenient hours!
Add to that an element of physical effort and numeracy skills, together with a sense of wonder at the opportunities that are provided by the work we do.
The Forum at MCSC will provide an opportunity for existing and aspiringBin Chickens to share experiences, positive suggestions, and be aware of the latest donor and supporter recruitment's and marketing strategies.
Importantly, the forum is open to all members of the club.
The Forum at MCSC will start promptly at 4.30pm and finish at 5.30pm, so that we can go round the corner to The Mornington Hotel for our regular meeting.
