From President Anne

Last Monday we had a club assembly and passed our first two project driven club projects.

It is important for committees to identify known projects and submit a project driven club form.

It is most important that all club members feel comfortable putting up a project in any of our service areas and that they are given every opportunity to see it happen with the club members support.
Anne, Susan and Mark present the Mount Martha Village 2025 Christmas decorations project
Monday at 5pm we are visiting the Men's Shed at The New Peninsula Church, followed by dinner at the Mornington Hotel.

Please refer to the email from Byron with directions on how to get there. This will be a valuable opportunity to learn more about what they do.

W&N Cancer Council event 22.5.25

Event organiser, Kathy from Warlimont & Nutt advised that $1,033 was raised from their Biggest Morning Tea BBQ held at Mount Martha Village. This was almost double what was raised last year, so a mighty effort.

It was wonderful to see the generosity and spirit in the Village.

Congratulations to all involved and we look forward to joining you again next year.

Rotary Rosebud-Rye turns 70, 21.5.25

Another terrific milestone achieved this week as Rotary Rosebud - Rye celebrated 70 years service in the community.

Congratulations to President Adele and their club.

BGS Mock Interviews 26.6.25

Balcombe Grammar is asking for our assistance again this year for their Year 9 Mock Interview program. The interviews will take place on THURSDAY JUNE 26. We are asked to arrive around 8.15 and should be finished about 1.30. Morning tea and a delicious lunch are provided. (Please indicate if you have any dietary requirements.)

If you can help please let Phyl Scales know via email at phylscales@yahoo.com or by text on 0419 138 187.

This is a great program. We meet some wonderful young people and further strengthen our relationship with the school and local community so I hope that many of our club members will participate. If you haven’t taken part before, don’t worry as we do the interviews in pairs and the “old hands” will help you.
