Funds raised for wheelchairs for kids
The Mount Martha Rotary Club in partnership with the Balcombe Interact Club and Balcombe Grammer School recently conducted a “Interact Wheel-athon” in raising funds for the program Wheelchairs For Kids. A total of $5907 has so far raised, which will provide funds for 21 all-terrain wheelchairs. These wheelchairs are provided to children in impoverished and under resourced communities both in Australia and around the globe.

Rotary Interact is a service club program sponsored by Rotary International for young people aged 12-18 that provides hands-on community service, leadership development, and international understanding. Members participate in fun service projects, discover the power of "Service Above Self," and develop lasting friendships while working with a sponsoring Rotary club and a teacher advisor.
